What is self-managed strata software?
Self-managed strata software lets the lot owners of a body corporate run their own scheme (meetings, levies, documents, by-laws and maintenance) without doing the statutory paperwork by hand. Self Strata is built specifically for Queensland schemes under the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997, so notice periods, quorums, resolution types and levy calculations follow the Act automatically.
Can a Queensland body corporate manage itself?
Yes. Queensland law does not require a body corporate to engage a professional manager; the committee can administer the scheme itself. Self Strata guides a volunteer committee through the legal requirements: it checks meeting notice periods, tracks statutory deadlines, generates compliant documents, and calculates levies with discounts and penalty interest under the BCCM Act's regulation modules.

Which Queensland regulation modules does Self Strata support?
All five modules under the BCCM Act 1997: the Standard Module, Accommodation Module, Small Schemes Module, Commercial Module and Two-lot Schemes Module.
